Why did i give it 9 and not 10? well here is my reason, The story is actually very interesting about how a group of friend suddenly wake up in a room and told by the game master that one of them have a huge debt but the game master say that if they play the "Tomodachi game (friend game)" the debt will be gone. Okay so, this is my first review and i'm not really familiar with English language, but oh well i'll try my best Everything is just perfect and I couldn't know how someone wont enjoy this. I cant say much on this point as I explained it before. If you once start reading it, you cant stop, as you always want to know how it continues and what happens next. There are every time things which i didn't expect and always caught me off guard. They even have their own backstory which isn't boring, it is enjoyable to read it and experience it. The main and side cast overall is perfect too and they align so good with the story and the other characters. His way of understanding humans and predicting their decisions and emotions are just perfect, he is definitely one of the best characters existing. Although Yuuichi isn't a person with an outstanding IQ, he is so enjoyable and his decisions on the situations are always perfect. Overall you can always see the effort which is put into the drawings, which make the perfect story even better. The ways some characters are drawn in certain situation makes it so much more exciting to read. I cant really say much about this, but the art is perfect too. Later on, one of the biggest plot twists follows and it goes on with insanely good arcs and the best plot twists which are unpredictable and no one could imagine. The first 5 chapters start to be a bit boring for some readers but you can always see how there are some scenes of the mc having an other site which makes it really interesting and exciting to read. I would definitely recommend this manga if you are a fan of mind games and battle of wits with the dark and twisted story mixed in. I really enjoy this manga and it's one of my favorite to exist. We get backstories of how most of the characters ended up like in the series. His dark persona and his twisted methods of doing good is a treat to watch.Įach and every characters have a good character development. the Main character is one of best character I've seen. Now this is the strongest aspect of this series, the characters are absolutely fantastic. Nothing much to say for art but it is fantastic. It nails each and everything it uses, the romance, the battle of wits, the twists, the characters, the art. The story develops in one of the best stories I have ever seen/read. The story is kind of generic at start, especially the first five chapters, but oh boy, does it take a big turn. I don't usually write reviews but I guess this series deserve one, as the rest are kinda old ones. As the group's faith wavers due to the growing number of secrets and betrayals, Yuuichi must figure out who of his "friends" he can actually trust and ultimately discover the identity of the traitor. They are to play a "friendship game": a series of games that will test the strength of their bond and trust in each other. He informs the group that one of them indirectly gathered them together in order to settle a large debt. They wake up in a mysterious room in the presence of "Manabu-kun," a character from a controversial children's show that stopped airing due to its malicious content. Upon arrival, they are ambushed and knocked unconscious. Although innocent, Shiho and Makoto take responsibility for the failure to protect the money when no one else comes forward.Ī few days later, Yuuichi and his friends receive mysterious letters which trick each of them into meeting up. But when the gathered money mysteriously goes missing, suspicion falls on two of Yuuichi's friends: Shiho Sawaragi and Makoto Shibe, who were in charge of collecting the payments. To keep a promise he made to them, Yuuichi saves up enough money to join them on the school trip. EditSynopsis Yuuichi Katagiri has battled financial hardships his whole life but has learned to stay content and positive thanks to his close circle of friends.
